Beach Games

This new beach game, Spike Ball,  has been really popular this season.
I'm not sure what the rules are or how it is played,
but I know it's not easy!

These four guys were the first one's I've seen
that could actually keep the ball in play!

Beach Chums

There is nothing more fun than a glass of wine
on the beach at the end of the day
 with a few great chums.

Soakin' It In

Things are winding down at the beach
as everyone tries to squeeze in as much "summer" as they can.
I'm soaking it all in while I can!

A Month of Sundays

It's definately August.
Surf's up.
Sweatshirts are on.

I feel like we have one foot in the sand,
and one foot going "back to school".
My friend, Sally Dean Mello says
August feels like a month of Sundays.
Think about it.
June is a month of Fridays...all that anticipation and planning,
and July is a month of Saturdays......all FUN.

I guess summer in New England is actually
a three month weekend!

Fall Workshop on the Cape

Having more fun with this subject.....
"Out of the Blue"
24 x 36

NOTE!
I'm teaching a two day
workshop at the
Cape Cod Art Association
September 19, 20

This intense class will demonstrate ways to manipulate your photos
ahead of time in order to simplify the information.
Loose, spontaneous intuitive paintings will result!

This will be a great way to kick off the fall painting season!
